Quranic Education & Community Service
A devoted mother, teacher, and servant of the Quran. Souad spent her life teaching children Arabic and Quran across the Bay Area — in masajid, Islamic schools, and weekend programs. Known for her patience, kindness, and deep love of the Book of Allah, her legacy lives on through her two children and the thousands of students she taught. She passed suddenly at 56, just days before her birthday.

A beloved pillar of the Algerian community in the Bay Area. Mohammed dedicated countless hours organizing events, bringing families together during Eid celebrations, and creating joyful moments for children. As Vice President of AAA-NC in 2014 and 2015, he led programs that served the youth and those in need. His legacy lives on in every life he touched and every smile he created.
“His presence brought warmth, unity, and happiness to everyone around him.” — Community
